Milestones, memories, and the moments that matter.
Milestones, memories, and the moments that matter.
Our life moves fast, but every season brings something new. This is where we pause, take it all in, and share the journey.
No matter where life takes us, one thing is certain: He is making a way.

This Season in Our Lives
Oh, December with your twinkling lights and holiday magic. We reveled in it all at Busch Gardens Christmas Village—because nothing says "Merry Christmas" like roller coasters and overpriced hot cocoa. We rang in the New Year there, fully leaning into the magic, the memories, and the mild chaos of holiday crowds.
Then, we hit the road for Georgia to spend time with family. It was an overdue reunion that fed our souls (and our stomachs). The Virginia-to-Georgia drive was an adventure in itself, stretched over two days, with a pit stop in South Carolina where the boys got to see their favorite man (after their dad, of course). We also had the prestigious honor of judging some seriously impressive gingerbread houses. Let’s just say, some folks have entire blueprints for gingerbread mansions, and we respect that.
For a few days, we swapped out routines for cabin life and family time, and it was exactly what we needed. A reset, a deep breath, a reminder of what matters.
Back home, life has been anything but slow. The kids started basketball, officially launching us into "sports parent" mode. Meanwhile, the four of us are still juggling work, school, and the general pursuit of keeping the fridge stocked.
We also took a social media detox to clear the noise and focus on walking boldly in our callings—because when God calls, you answer, and sometimes that means stepping away from the scroll. This season has been about responding to purpose, using our gifts, and pouring into what matters.
And just when we thought we had everything figured out, life handed me some unexpected health news. Instead of flipping my world upside down, it flipped it right side up—a reminder that God is still sovereign, still leading, still making a way.
One of the biggest shifts? My relationship with coffee. If you know me, you know that coffee and I had a solid thing going. Hubby bought me a beautiful espresso machine for Christmas. But now, I’m navigating life without it (or at least, with some creative alternatives), and let’s just say, it’s an adjustment. More on that later.
So here we are: A little stretched, a lot blessed, and fully leaning into the grace that keeps us going.
As we step into the next season, one thing is clear: God is making a way. In the busyness, in the shifts, in the quiet moments between, He is at work. Amen? Amen.

If this season had a tagline, it would be Family First (and Also, Coffee—or Whatever's Replacing It)
